TYPES OF OFFICERS
The
navigation and engineer officers are holders of U.K., GHANA,
Certificates of competency. The Electrical Engineer Officers are holders
of City and Guilds (LONDON). Marine Electrical Engineers (MEE)
Certificates, University Diploma.
The
officers are holders of Mandatory Auxiliary Certificates as follows:
a)
MASTERS/DECK OFFICERS:
Personal Survival Techniques, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting,
Elementary First Aid, Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities,
Advanced Fire Fighting, Medical First Aid, Medical Care, Survival Craft
& Rescue Boats Radar & Arpa
(Management/Operations Level, GMDSS,
Efficient Deck Hands and ISPS.
b)
MARINE ENGINEERS
Personal Survival Techniques, Fire Fighting
& Fire Preventive, Elementary First Aid, Personal Safety & Social
Responsibilities, Advance Fire Fighting, Medical First Aid, Survival
Crafts and Rescue Boats and ISPS for Ch/Engs/2/Engs.
c)
ELECTRICAL OFFICERS/ELECTRONICS
Personal Survival Techniques, Fire
Preventive & Fire Fighting, Elementary First Aid, Personal Safety &
Social Responsibilities. ISPS.
d) RATINGS
Besides the
offers, we also have a number of qualified and competent Ghanaian
Ratings with British/Ghanaian EDH and Lifeboat Certificates for the Deck
department and experienced ratings for Engineering Department. Apart
from that ratings are obliged to do course in Fire Prevention and Fire
Fighting, Elementary First Aid, Personal Safety and Social
Responsibilities, Personal Survival Techniques.,ISPS |
