ENGINE:       Chief Engineers, Second Engineers, Third Engineers and fourth Engineers.

                         Electrical and Electronic Officers.

About 70% of Officers currently at sea ie 1211 Officers employed by the international companies out of which 329 are employed through Ocerec. (See annex 3)

Ghana seamen working with shipping companies including Islamic republic of Iran shipping Lines (IRISL), Ethiopian Shipping Lines (ESL) Pacific International Lines (PIL) of Singapore, Neptune Oriental Line of Singapore, Semco Salvage of Singapore and Oldendorf of germany.

A number of them are also working with supply Salvag and anchor handelling boats along the west African Coast Nigeria, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and also Angola in southern Africa.
